Caroline Kampshoff was born in 1979 in Tilburg. In August 2006 she graduated with a Masters degree in biomedical science from Radboud University, Nijmegen. This provided the opportunity to expand upon the clinical and analytical skills gained during her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
Currently, Caroline is working as PhD student on the A-CaRe project at the EMGO+ Institute, VU University Medical Centre Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The research project is titled: Resistance and Endurance exercise After ChemoTherapy (REACT).
Before starting her PhD project, Caroline worked as policy officer within the HAN University (Nijmegen) and coordinated a project to develop and implement guidelines for triage in the emergency room/department (Jan 2007-Oct 2008). Furthermore, she worked at the University of Southampton as senior research assistant for 18 months, contributing to a project for postural control in people with Parkinson’s Disease.
